but so what ?
...there is little we can do
but
boycott supermarkets
which rip off the planet and the poor
while claiming to benefit their customers.
(Or at least buy only their marked-down raw food.
And never pre-prepared meals, pizzas, hamburgers etc.)
If only 10% of us stop contributing to the
grotesque enrichment of the supermarkets,
shopping-malls
and pharmaceutical industries
the system will collapse
under the weight of its and our own greed-debt.
Think global, eat local (and in season*)
and as little meat and fish as you can.
Recycle and use recycled.
Buy second-hand.
Flout fashion.
Make your own -
if it is not already too late...
'The living wash in vain.' -
Samuel Beckett
* Many people are now unaware, alas, that fruits and vegetables have seasons.
