"The Chieftain's Grave" at Tireighter (pronounced Trichter ) has an imposing façade, at the centre of which is an entrance (here seen filled with cairn material, including some white quartzite pebbles associated with many ancient monuments in Ireland) which leads into a portico and on into a large main chamber.
